Abstract: Strategies for promoting teamwork and leadership skills in technical programs are essential for preparing students to collaborate effectively and assume leadership roles in diverse technical environments. This study examines effective strategies for integrating teamwork and leadership development into technical education, focusing on their impact on student learning outcomes and employability. Objectives include assessing current practices in teamwork and leadership training, evaluating students' perceptions of skill development opportunities, and identifying barriers to effective skill integration in technical programs. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather data from 200 participants, including technical educators and students, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across technical disciplines in Kano State. Case studies will highlight technical institutions renowned for their innovative approaches to teamwork and leadership development, illustrating successful models and their impact on student success. Findings reveal that integrated teamwork and leadership programs enhance students' collaborative abilities, problem-solving skills, and career advancement prospects. Recommendations emphasize curriculum reforms to embed teamwork competencies, fostering mentorship opportunities for leadership growth, and strengthening industry partnerships to enhance practical learning experiences in technical education.
